The rice produced in ShinhidakaÕs fertile land and with mineral-rich water from the magnificent Hidaka Mountains has a great balance of gloss, stickiness and sweetness, and even tastes great when eaten cold.
From a strong belief that happy pigs make delicious pork, pigs are raised in a stress-free environment on vast grasslands, and are fed fresh whey and vegetables containing powdered Hidaka Kombu.  As a result, the pork produced is moist and tender and has a mild sweet taste.
